Deborah H. Gant
Deborah Gant, the Producer of “Listen 2 Our Teens”, lives in Terry, MS. Mrs. Gant is the President/Founder/General Manager of 3ABN Radio Station, WFNH 95.1FM Jackson, Mississippi. The station hit the airwaves on January 20, 2017 and it is the first and thus far only 3ABN Radio Station in the entire state of Mississippi. She is also the CEO/Founder/President of Focus on Natural Health Education & Community Development Inc. Mrs. Gant became a Master Gardner in 2013 via Mississippi State University Extension Service. She is also a former Production Technician at WLBT-TV3 in Jackson, Mississippi. Presently, Mrs. Gant is a producer and host for three (3) television shows at PEG-TV Channel 18 on Comcast (Jackson, MS). She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Jackson State University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communication-Radio/TV Production.
Focus on Natural Health Education & Community Development Inc. (FONHE) is a non-profit organization incorporated in the state of Mississippi. The primary purpose for which this organization exists is to give instruction on reversing and/or preventing debilitating lifestyle diseases by using the most advanced scientific materials on Natural Health for the whole being! As a vegan/vegetarian cook, Mrs. Gant conducts ‘hands-on’ low-sodium, low-calorie and no-cholesterol cooking classes through FONHE for all age groups, especially the youth.
As a Master Gardner, Mrs. Gant instructs adults and the youth in proper gardening skills via “Our Community Garden” and provides several needy families with FREE fresh produce. FONHE also provides community nutrition and community exercise/weight-loss programs (without going on a crash diets), tobacco and alcohol cessation classes, food for the needy and summer youth employment. “Listen 2 Our Teens” is a birth-child of FONHE. “Listen 2 Our Teens” is a non-profit organization committed to helping our youth, 13 to 19 years of age, to achieve their dreams. The
30-minute program shares with the general public, especially the teens, practical character building lessons on positive decision-making.
Mrs. Gant received the GIVE – Certificate of Appreciation & Commendation in the years of 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017.
