Congratulations Samuel Devon Richardson

Congratulations to our son, Samuel Richardson, for graduating today with honors, DEBT FREE, and a semester early from Mississippi University for Women (admitting men since 1982)!  He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Management Information Systems.  Samuel has also been accepted into the university’s MBA program and plans to officially enroll during the Spring 2024 semester.  Since he was enrolled in the Accelerated Bachelor/MBA program as an undergrad, the Lord has allowed him to complete about 33% of his graduate school work while completing his undergraduate degree requirements.

It is a parent’s dream to see their child succeed and reach their goals.  We are elated to see the growth that Samuel has shown over the past few years and the Lord has really blessed him in so many ways!  It is amazing to see what he has done using a 6-day work week. During his final semester, Samuel was enrolled in graduate and undergraduate courses; worked a part-time job online; and worked a part-time, in-person job.  He volunteered as an active member of the Gamma Beta Phi national honors and service society and served as the Assistant Audio/Visual Leader at the Ephesus Seventh-day Adventist Church in Birmingham, Alabama.  He did all of this while maintaining high expectations and discipline with his course work and observing the Sabbath hours.  We are so proud of him!

May God continue to bless him and develop him into what He wants him to be.
