Shondolyn is currently busy working on the last song on her debut album. Now that
the recording process is about to come to a close,
things are beginning to feel bittersweet.
On one hand, she can not wait to see the finished product and have the opportunity to go out and
share it with others. On the other hand,
working with Simeon and Freddie has been such a wonderful experience that she hates to see it come to an end.
The past two years have been totally unbelievable. There have been so many things accomplished and so many experiences that will never be forgotten. From the overwhelming feeling of her first studio session to the day that she first called Simeon to ask about possibly doing her music, it has all been an experience worth having.
A couple of years ago, all of this seemed like a
dream. She would have never imagined completing a CD, and she
certainly wouldn't imagine working with a professional musician. The
team that was used to finish this project couldn't have been any better.
Both Simeon and Freddie demonstrated an enormous amount of skill and patience, and
helped her reach goals that seemed impossible.
The next few months will be full of new challenges, trials, and experiences; but, by God's grace, the end
result will be worth it. Please pray for Shondolyn as she prepares
to deliver God's message to her through song.
